It was a public holiday on Thursdays and the whole Sales & Marketing team together with their family gathered at my place for Nasi Lemak lunch. Dottie cooked her signature rendang chicken and Wendy made the flavoured rice from her late mum's recipe. Hmm....yummy. Everyone pig out and we all had some fun. Also, to top it all, Jimmy was also in town.

School Holidays....

It's the school holidays again this week. Though the first term holiday is short, my sis Estee and my cute little nephew Timothy still made their way up north to my mom's place. Jordon was so excited that he couldn't sleep the night before their arrival. He keeps on waking up every 2 hours checking if it's morning already.... *roll eyes*

They stayed for 4 nights and the 2 boys, as usual, had loads of fun with Estee lining up activities for them. She even brought a paddling pool all the way from KL. Till the next school holidays.....cheers.

It was another gathering with Sharon and Olivia on Tuesday. Olivia has grown again, I almost couldn't recognised her. Guess what ? She has also grown smarter as she does not want Auntie Soo Theng to carry her anymore. I just love to carry babies cause they smell so good.....

Mummy's Birthday Wish !!

It was 8.00 am on Sunday, 13 Jan 2008, my son Jordon sneaked into my room and slowly whisper to my ears while I was still fast asleep. "Happy Birthday, Mummy.....I've got a surprise for you" he said. I opened my eyes and saw that both his hands were behind his back. I asked "What ? Darling". Excitedly he jump and said "Ta daa...!" and handed me an envelope with a self made birthday card. So sweet and it was the best birthday present for me.

Nan's Farewell Gathering

As always, we were all very busy especially Bro Dennis and Angeline at their workplace cause it's a resort and it's year end but we managed to find some time to meet and gather on the 9th evening for another celebration. A not so happy one though...it's Nan's farewell.

She has only about a week with us before she says "tata". She will be taking up new challenges in Doha, Qatar. We went to Mizi for a sumptuous dinner and went to G Spot for some drinking after that.

Christmas Present from Jordon

Jordon wanted to get me something special for Christmas this year. He was cudgeling his brain for a day and finally said " Mommy, I am going to get you a pair of earrings cause I know girls like earrings. I am also going to get one for Mama ".

So on Christmas morning, with RM17.00 in his wallet we went to Queensbay Mall, Penang. First, he picked a pair which I thought was a good choice and said " This is for Mama". He turned to see the price tag and put it back with a disappointing look on his face. I asked "What's wrong boy ?. It's a very nice earring for Mama". "But if I buy this I will not have enough money to get another earring for you. This is RM19.00" Jordon said. I felt so sad and immediately gave him RM50.00 and told him that he could buy 2 earrings with the money. His expression changed and he actually looked relief.

So, he continued looking around and found another pair for me. I love it ! My son has good taste....
